About Me

Rob Norton is an artist and freelance designer/photographer who was born and raised on Vancouver Island. With a background in photography, completing a BFA with Honors at Ryerson University, his personal creative work embraces several art disciplines, from film and video to collage and painting.

Conceptually based around memories, dreams and nostalgia; Rob creates a bittersweet, slightly unsettling feeling in his work by exploring themes of isolation and lost love.

Currently he is strapped to an office job, and can be seen most afternoons searching for the nearest exit.

I am rob.

I live and work in Toronto.

I like drawing, crisp autumn mornings, browsing book covers and train rides.

I dislike alarm clocks, cheese, spiders and people who are loud.
